Clovelly House is a family run business with a 24 year long reputation for providing comfortable and inviting accommodation. In addition to the excellent location and facilities, guests can expect a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Our rooms are either en-suite or have private facilities and are equipped to the highest standard. Please follow the links above for more details.
Food and your enjoyment of it is of great importance to us and we pride ourselves in providing an extensive breakfast menu using, wherever possible, local ingredients all cooked to order. Guests can choose from a selection of dishes including locally smoked salmon, kippers or smoked haddock right up to The Clovelly House Special, - which would be a challenge to even the most hungry guest ! If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know and we will be more than happy to accommodate your needs.
We have a very pretty courtyard garden for guests use. Guests are free to use it at any time, perhaps to sit out with a pot of tea, or a glass of wine after an exhausting day exploring the delights of our region. A smoking area is also provided outside.
Cyclists and walkers are welcome and have been returning to Clovelly for many years. We have a secure area for cycle storage. Should any repairs be needed, then we are only metres away from an excellent cycle shop, Wilsons Cycles on Bridge Street, telephone 01289 331476.
We provide both Residents Parking Tickets and Town Parking Tickets which mean free parking for our guests in any council run car park up to and including Morpeth. This includes Bamburgh, Holy Island, Seahouses and Alnwick. This can mean a tremendous saving for guests who wish to delight in the surrounding area, without the added expense of parking charges.
